I’m so excited to announce that my essay “Strip, Reveal and Sex Appeal” will appear in Caitlin Press’s book, Boobs: Women discuss what it means to have breasts. The book will be edited by the amazing Ruth Daniell, who is an incredible poet and writer and also a fellow graduate of UBCs Creative Writing masters in fine arts program.
My essay explores life as a woman in the military, where femininity is not encouraged, and how I came to value my strengths as a woman when I began the art of burlesque.
This is truly a stunning book, with work contributed by some incredible writers, which all women will relate to.
