Recently, Embedded on the Home Front: Where military and civilian lives converge, was nominated for a CBC Bookie Box of Tissues Award, the book most likely to make you cry! The book was published by Heritage House Press in fall, 2012 and featured essays by those who experienced military life on the home front perspective. I was lucky to have my essay, “We Are a (Military) Family,” appear in the book.
